’85s End The Year On High Note For DCF

The Class of 1985 closed the 2026 fiscal year with a $3,407,112 contribution to the Dartmouth College Fund. Even more impressive was our 32.3% participation. At our 40th reunion, participation stood at 23.5% so about 100 people gave after that weekend which is fantastic! Our goal was 30%, so kudos to our Class Head Agents and everyone who reached out to classmates and friends. As a reminder, our DCF contributions are what makes it possible for Dartmouth to ensure that students from low- to middle-income backgrounds can afford a Dartmouth undergraduate education. 232nd Meeting of the Alumni Council

May 23, 2026 Fellow Members of the Class of 1985 –  I attended the Alumni Council meeting held virtually on May 7–8. Two discussions stood out in particular, one with President Beilock and a separate one with the Trustees. President Beilock Discussion President Beilock highlighted three key priorities: career design, with a particular emphasis on internships; promoting dialogue and free expression; and strengthening research initiatives.
