For those that would like to come early to reunion and recreate their Freshman Trips experience, the reunion classes (’85, ’86 and ’87) will be taking over the Moosilauke Ravine Lodge (“MRL”) on Wednesday, June 17th. You can:
- Arrive at MRL for dinner and overnight stay on Wednesday, June 17th (those arriving early can hike this day)
- Wake up for breakfast and enjoy the space (hike or enjoy the Lodge)
- Return to campus on Thursday, June 18th for the start of reunions
Or
- Just come for dinner and hiking (reservation required for dinner)
Or
- Come up as a day tripper and enjoy hiking on the 17th or 18th (however no last-minute reservations for dinner can be made)
We are working on arranging a contra dance on June 17th evening – stay tuned!
We are also working on arranging current student guides for the Thursday morning hike – stay tuned!
We have 30 guaranteed slots for the Class of ’85 – please use this link to reserve your place – https://forms.gle/TVnZQL3bdxgyk7bM9
Some additional notes on the stay –
Accommodations are rustic; 4 bunkhouses with hostel-style shared bunkrooms. Let the Lodge know if you have specific accessibility needs. Bathrooms and showers are located in the main building. Step-free access is available via the lower access road, and the main building has an elevator. Most folks like to bring their own bedding. Linens and sleeping bags are available for rent for $8. Wool blankets and pillowcases are available for free. There is no cell service or Wi-Fi. There is a landline phone guests are welcome to use.
Dinner is served family-style at 6:30 PM
- MRL prepares bread, salad, soup, main dish, side, and a dessert.
- MRL can do their best to accommodate dietary restrictions, as long as the information is provided at least 48 hours in advance.
Breakfast is served at 7:30 a.m., and bagged lunches are available if requested 24 hours in advance.
Please do not bring any hard alcohol, but you can bring wine and beer.
