Advise the 2020’s

class_2020

The Dartmouth College Fund and Alumni Relations have partnered to create The D20 Connection program, to help support the Class of 2020 and foster in them a continuing connection with the College, during their Senior Spring and as they join the Dartmouth Alumni family.  As part of the program, we’re asking our Alumni to offer words of advice, wisdom and encouragement to the ’20s: these responses will be curated and posted on The D20 Connection website, going live later this week.

Please take a moment to send a message to the newest class joining the Dartmouth Alumni family.  The form for submissions can be found here: Dartgo.org/WordsFromAlumni

Princeton Doomed

1601297_10101234997676551_1912211356_nAccording to Facebook data scientist Mike Devlin, Princeton may soon disappear:

Like many of you, we were intrigued by a recent article by Princeton researchers predicting the imminent demise of Facebook. Of particular interest was the innovative use of Google search data to predict engagement trends, instead of studying the actual engagement trends. Using the same robust methodology featured in the paper, we attempted to find out more about this “Princeton University” – and you won’t believe what we found!

In keeping with the scientific principle “correlation equals causation,” our research unequivocally demonstrated that Princeton may be in danger of disappearing entirely.
