85th Day of the Year Celebration Friday, March 25th: here we come!!!! Happy March! Well, Punxsutawney Phil predicted an early spring and it sure seems to be real here in Georgia. Hope that it’s happening in your part of the world too! Well, March is a special month for the ’85 family. Not only do we get to celebrate a holiday filled with Green (St. Patrick’s Day) and March Madness (and yes, the first day of spring), but it’s the month when we ’85’s celebrate a really important and exciting day of the year-you guessed it-the 85th day of the year-yahoooo!!!!! With Leap Year in the mix, we celebrate this major milestone on Friday, March 25th (counted and double-counted-and hopeful that I got it right:-) So it’s time for another virtual mini-reunion for the Class. Get out your “ancient” Dartmouth-wear and take a picture wearing it (or stick it on your child/pet/friend and take some pics:-). If you can, gather a bunch of Dartmouth ’85 buddies and watch some March Madness (or not) and take a picture of the gang. Post these awesome pics to our class Facebook page (Dartmouth Class of 1985) (thank you Jeff Weitzman, our fearless webmaster, for making this page a reality). Get out those photo-albums and post some throw-back pictures from our “glory days” on the site too. Any and all of these things will be great BUT PLEASE DO AT LEAST ONE OF THEM on or around Friday, March 25th. Let’s make it festive folks. Todd and I feel so darn grateful to be part of this great class of ’85-truly an honor and a privilege. So let’s show some spirit and make Friday, March 25th “our” day. With gratitude-Valerie (Hartman) and Todd (Cranford) (mini-reunion chairs) PS: And in the spirit of some good, fun competition, let’s see who can post the most pics for our 85th Day of the Year Celebration-there will be a special shout out for the winner (and maybe something more:-)
